I got the following email from Mr. Richard Martins from an online ad i put up to sell mt car:

"Goodday,
I saw your advert placed. I would like to know if you still have this ads
Can i see the pics.
Please let me know the present condition and why are you selling it.
Please let me know the least price you will let it go for me???
I am here waiting for your response.
Thanks and God bless you.
Best Regards
Richard"

After responding i received the following email:

"Hello John,
Thanks for the email and the assurance. I appreciate it a lot.
I am okay with the price.
Please let it be on hold for me you can remove the ads from the website.
As i am willing to make the payment before any other interested person.
But because my wife is ill and i have to take good care of her and kids very well.
I will instruct my client to issue the certified check for this amount plus the shipping fees that is meant for my shipper so that they can prepare the necessary paper works and facilitate the pick up arrangement when coming for the pick up.
I have also spoken with Mr Oscar Brown the person that will come for the pick up from your location and he has agreed to make the arrangement after you migth have recieved the payment. You can contact him for enquires at oscar_shippinginc@yahoo.com for enquires.
Therefore,
I will need the the following information for the payment to be made...

{1} name that the check will be made payable to and
{2} The address it will be sent to through a fast express courier
service mail that will be delievered to you ASAP.
{3}I will also need your phone number so that the courier postman can
call you on coming for the delievery of payment to you.

I emailed him back and told him i would accept the cashiers check but i would not release the car until the cashiers check had cleared, approximately 2 weeks. He stated that he had already sent the payment out by Courier and that i had to accept it. After 2 weeks no Cashiers check but i got the following email.

"Hello John,
Thanks for your patience in getting my payment. I appreciate it a lot.
I just want to let you know that i received a confirmation from the courier service mail that you must have received the payment by now.
It was issued out of Jacksonville.
Please respond and let me know if you really received it so that i can contact them again for prompt delievery.

To Which i responded that i have not received the payment and that he should check with his "Courier". I have asked him numerous times for his address and phone number and he refuses to give it. He also will not provide the name of his "Courier" so i can trace the "Cashiers Check" he claims to have sent. I cannot find anything at all about either Richard Martins, or Oscar Brown Shipping Inc. Other than what is on this site.

Luckily i havent lost anything but my patience.
