Famous Poets Society
Deception of genuine works 'Take the poem and run' ripoff

Education & Science

Sent to the poetry contest and won well imagine that. To here this made me have more self motivation to write! Well then I was invited to Reno Nevada on sept 3rd. 2005
Just send in another poem to be read on National TV. All kinds of celebrities to witness this sounds great right?

Sure does so i was going to go till Hurricane Katrina stopped me in my tracks so i was going to send off for the plaque of my poem to have a friend and fellow writer tell me that two years ago he was invited the same way to find it was only a way for them to pay for The FREE gifts he never recieved. Well this had me thinking if this is the case what about the poem I wrote how do i actually get it back and published through a ligitimate company this was wrote only once.

Its Called I've been away and to have it published was a dream come true the only copy left is in their possession for the Hurricane has taken my only physical copy and to find out I was taken for a ride breaks my heart will I ever see my poem published or was it all a waste of time and will there ever be the rewards they claim I earnd come to pass
