Lonestar Infrastructure
Conglomerate giant hired us to qualify for state hwy project, then told us to leave before we finished the project. Pfugerville

Education & Science

Nobody protects the small business man. I and other contractors were hired for a construction project that could have lasted up to 7 yrs. This was a great opportunity for us to grow and profit.instead it only lasted 3 mos. And put three of us out of business.

We were hired for hwy 130 that would loop 97 miles from north Austin to north San Antonio. From the get go we had problems with racial remarks towards us, micro-management, and attempts to sabotage our work. We officially complained, and that's when things got worse.

We never had any complaints about our work or administration there of, so when we were asked to leave without merit, we were shocked. How could this be possible without paper work or even a commitee of some sort. This project was required by the state to have a percentage of minority contractors to perform, and a simple shop foreman can walk into my ofice and tell me and the general contractor to leave?

I and the general contractor took our long list of complaints to Texas Dept. Of Transportation and they basically gave us the same negativity. Surely Txdot would listen to us. We documented every thing and every day from that project and still did'nt get the help we needed from our so called State.

Every attorney I talked to said I had a strong case but no one would touch it. I found out that Lone Star Infrastructure was a sur name for an extremely large overseas company somehow connected to Haliburton. The Gen. Contractor and I have since went out of business, but never forget how our local polititians and State sold us out.
