Lori French, EquaSystems & Becker & Associates
Lied and won't pay in

Lori French is a manager for Becker & Associates. After I completed the training requirements with Becker, Lori told me she had a job for me. She said I would perform prospecting work as an indpendent contractor for EquaSystems.

After I began the work I was told I had to get EFax which costs money, I had to pay the long distance calling charges which Lori said would be about a dollar an hour and I would not be paid for the hours I spent on the phone with Lori for training, support and the transference of data.

I found all of this out after I started working with them. After doing the work for about 11 or 12 hours I was offered a much more lucrative opportunity which did not require me to spend money. I called Lori and told her and she said fine. I asked about my pay and she said it would be mailed after I sent the data to her. I did just that and confirmed with Lori that she received the data.

I waited more than a month before I started inquiring about the money owed to me.initially Lori ignored my emails and calls but then she did call and told me that Wes would send a check. I still got nothing so I started the emails and calls again. This time Lori called me back and said that Wes from Equasystems would not pay as I had not worked enough hours.

As an independent contractor I was entitled to be paid for whatever work I completed. I told Lori that and she said she would talk to Wes and call me back. It is now more than three months and no one calls or contacts me about this matter.

If anyone is thinking about working for Becker & Associates, EquaSystems and Lori French, think twice as I never got paid.

They make you sign contracts stating that you are an independent contractor but then they don't pay when you stop working. Lori starts out being nice and helpful but once you aren't making money for her she drops you like a hot cake.

My first clue should have been that Lori works for Becker & Associates but she was the only person I ever communicated with relative to EquaSystems; Becker & Associates is in California, EquaSystems in Texas and Lori is somehere in Ohio.

I am a professional person with education and experience and I still got aken so be careful.
