Billed $9 After Alleged Free Trial Signup I Never Made

I bought tickets through Ticketmaster over a month ago, and this month my billing statement showed a charge of $9 billed to Entertainment Rewards.

I never signed up for this, even though they claim I clicked on some link when I bought my tickets that signed me up for a free 30-day trial period. After the trial period, they charge $9 a month to remain a member.

If I had been aware that I was joining this reward program, I would have actually used my trial period and tried it out. But I never signed up for this, and I cancelled my unauthorized membership. I do not expect to get my $9 back, but at least I caught it right away.

I can't believe they can get away with this. It is really unbelievable to me. I will never buy tickets through Ticketmaster again. Apparently they are owned by the same company. Check your credit card statements. You may be next.
