I was contacted by a sales representative from Link Positions and told that for $499.00 they could put my company in the top position on Google for one keyword of my choice. If you go to their website they have a little scam "demonstration" where they ask you to put in your keyword and web address. After you enter it, you end up on a page that appears to be Google, but upon closer inspection the URL is not Google at all, but a site they created to fool you.

In reality they place you on some search engine you nor anyone else has ever heard of. When you call to question them about it, they tell you that you must have misunderstood, because they never claimed to be able to put you on Google, even though their demonstration says just that. After much arguing with them, I finally was put in touch with a real cocky kid who claimed he was the manager, and after much debate agreed to refund my money. The credit never appeared on my card, so I had to dispute the charge, which is where it is at today.

Watch out for these scam artists they go be many names, but it's all the same place. After doing some research on the Internet I learned I was not the only one taken in by these criminals. Be warned!
