Ripoff They wanted my bank account # to prove I was who I was

I was all willing to listen to them and even gave them my bank name with the toll free #. They had my name and address. At first I was like ok no big deal. I have my bank account protected with a special code so that no one can get the information with out this word.

Well, as the call proceeded the first guy who said his name was James asked for my account # to make sure I was who I said I was. I explained to him that I don't give out my account # to anyone over the phone.

He was like I know what you are thinking. "You are thinking that because a forigner calles you and wants your account # that I am a terrorist. But I am not this is for real and we are with the BBB (Better Business Bureau)."

I still refused to give out my account # and he begged me to give it to him telling me that I was missing out and that "My" goverment has all this money just waiting for me to take.

I still refused so he puts his supervisor on the phone. Her name was Angel. She went through the same thing. Then she asked me again for my account #.

Stateing that she didn't need the routeing # just my account # and said that the bank only knows me by this number not by my name. I still refused to give it to her. She was like the only way we can move forward is with this information.

Thank God I didn't give it to her. When I went to look this company up on the web I found out through this site that they were a rip off. Thanks for saving me from a big mistake. I hope that you guys can get them.
