Disabled writer gets the shaft false promises

I enjoy writing and had several poems posted on Poetry.com. I recieved the -your poem was chosen by our staff tobe published. I was proud-right-Then i got the speil you can purchases our analagies for a price. Yeah rught. According to the letters you could purchase the same book at a retailer after publication-wrong i have several booksellers in my area and not one has even heard of these books.

What can be done to stop this? Needless to say i am proud of my poetry but not proud that i got ripped off and nowhere to turn for help. Makes me sad that these things happen. Tks
