First National Government Grants
Ripoff, discovered that they took money from my bank under a different name!

First national government grants called to offer a deal. If I paid 29.95 they would send me a $100 voucher and get me grant money to complete my master's. They said if I was satisfied and wanted them to continue to search for grant money, they would charge me $299. I told them that I was not interested in the future. However, I was interested in the one time charge for 29.95.

After I gave them the needed information. I decided that I did not make a smart move. I tried to cancel the same day. However, they said that all supervisors were busy and I could call back tomorrow. I still got the same run around the following day. I decided to go to my bank and make a stop payment. I thought it was over.

Today I checked my account and their was a charge for $299.95. I examined further and saw that the payment of 29.95 was made. I then called the bank. My banker discovered that the $29.95 was sent through under a different name. This is how their company avoided the stop payment. I still have hope to recover the $299 because I notified my bank within 24 hours. However, I have to dispute the claim and change my account to prevent this company from making further withdrawls. What a nightmare this has become.
