Award Rip-off Non Legitamite

Education & Science

I, too, have received the scam letter stating they have been trying to contact me to claim my award money of $3,341, 006.00. This web site and the entries have been helpful to confirm what I already knew looking at this paper, but... What can be done to STOP them?

Some of you have sent in checks, these can be traced by the bank back to the "company" that has cashed it. I would suggest trying to at least look into that.
Also I would recommed making photo copies of all paperwork mailed to you and then mailing them back in there pre-paid postage - this allows the scam artist to have to pay for the postage. The copies will be usefull if any class action suit can be filed on the parties responsible. Otherwise you will have no verification that you were a target of this scam!

Kudos to those of you who decided to check into the matter before being scammed out of money, now how do we help those others who do not have the internet, or do not know to check for the legitiamacy of this "sweepstakes".

May the force be with you!
