Central Pack AKA P & M Consolidator
Ripoff, fraudulent representation, lies, unresponsive and "nobody home or cares" attitude

I visited the Central Pack website to obtain an "estimate" for moving boxes (moving my home and 2 businesses). You are required to fill out their online form requesting billing information, etc. They state on-line that "IF" you do not agree with their quoted shipping charges, that your credit card will NOT be charged.

I received a phone call with the quote for shipping charges which were almost 3 times the cost of the boxes. I told the person on the phone to cancel the order... That I did not agree with the shipping charges of almost $80 for a $32 order. The lady even agreed with me that the charges were outrageous!

The next day I checked my account and P & M Consolidator had charged my account for almost $100. I placed a call to their "customer service" line. The recording stated that all operators were busy and to leave a message. I also emailed the company and demanded that my account be credited since I had followed their protocol and had cancelled the order. I called 2 more times and emailed them again. Listened to the same recording and I have not received a return call.

Yesterday the boxes were delivered. 20 medium boxes for $100!!!
This makes me sick! I have enough expenditures with moving without these people taking advantage of people via the internet. I will report these people to anyone and everyone I can for as long as I can.

There are so many good, decent, professional people doing business via the internet. We don't need people like P & M Consolidator and Central Pack ripping off the public and other businesses and then, not having the guts to take a phone call. And they call themselves "leaders!"
