Took the money and ran, completely ignored me after a while, gave money away for nothing

Education & Science

I am writing this report out of sheer frustration. It has now been about a year since I first signed up with referralware, it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I was in the Navy when I saw the ad on my email and it immediately caught my eye. The success reports are what really sucked me in, they made it seem as if this was to good to be true and yet genuine; of course it was to good to be true.

I called the number and talked to a man who seemed nice enough and yet to eager to get on to the part where they take my money. He definitely smooth talked me and assured me that even though I was in the Navy and had a very unpredictable schedule my coach and I could work it out and decide what was best for me. Yeah right. With his impeccable aid we managed to call my bank in Maine, I was in San Diego, and pull out $2000 of my money which pretty much emptied my account but I thought it was a good investment.

It didn't end there, however, as I had to dish out six hundred more dollars over the course of five months. Eventually I had my first call from my coach as well as access to my web building software. The software was beyond me and I definitely needed the coaches help to learn how to use it. After the first lesson I talked to my coach through emails and it seemed like I was making headway.

Things changed when I had to cancel our second phone session due to the fact that I was going out to sea on my ship (I was in the Navy and still am). I left a message at least 24 hours in advance like it says on the contract saying that I had to cancel and would only be gone for a couple days. I never heard his voice again. I wrote many emails and no response, he seemed to disappear. My emails are rejected and do not even reach him now. I dont make very much money comparitively, so the fact that I've dumped over $2600 into this adventure really infuriates me.
