USA Platinum - USA Credit And USA Shopping Club - Commonwealth Marketing Group, Inc
Ripoff, refused to credit my money back to my account after I asked to cancel, they would not cancel my membership. I Was Charged A Flat Fee Of $79.95, And Not What They Claim

Education & Science

I cannot recall how they got my information but they solicited an offer for a USA Platinum card with a credit limit of $7,500.00. When I saw a charage in my account in the amount of $79.95, I immediately called and questioned what the charge was for. They stated it was a one time fee for membership into their online shopping club where I could purchase any items I wanted or needed towards the credit line.

They never mentioned a fee on their site or otherwise in their offer of a fee for $79.95. I went online and checked their site and all the items they had required immediate additional payment fee from another source and not their credit card.

When I called to complain about that and requested my money reimbursed, they proceeded to tell me that merchandised waas being added and more availability was growing. They recommended that I give them another chance and if I was still not satisfied, they would reimburse me the fee.instead I got a USA Platinum Card with my name, and member since 2004. No phone numbers, web address, no company contact number is listed. The number I had called them on was issued by my bank as the number listed for the charge.

When I went to the site again, entered my information, etc. The site stated that they had no such person, account number, etc. On record. Therefore, I paid $79.95, and got nothing but a plastic card for it. I went on other sites and find that there are many, many people who have experience somewhat the same problems. Also, nothingwithstanding the above, USA Platinum is still soliciting innocent people on various credit card sites for the same scheme offering an unsecured credit line of $7,500.00, and no monthly fee.

Please, please stop this Rip Off scheme before it hurts anyone else. Also, I would be more than hapy to get into a Class Action Law Suit to recoup my money. I still have my card as evidence, and I can go through my records to obtain the charges made on my account.

Please advise what the outcome and status will be. Thank you for your help and assistance with scam artists like these who prey on innocent people under the guise of legitimate businesses. Thank you once again.
