Ripoff lied to students and staff

I worked for BCTI for 3 years as a Director of Graduate Services at the Lacey and Tacoma schools. What I would like to say first is that 99 percent of the students I worked with were good decent people. Yes some were down on their luck in life, but we all are at some point. That did not make it right to lie to them and take advantage of their desire to improve themselves, which is what Tom Jonez and Morrie Pigot did.
Secondly, most of the staff was deceived as well, by the "help people change their lives" rhetoric coming out of Gig Harbor. There were some wonderful staff members who truly cared. Myself, I quit after raising several ethical issues concerning admissions, curriculum, graduation, and placement, which fell on deaf ears. It did lead to being questioned by Trish B. About my BCTI heart, so I had enough and left.
The main cult was run out of Gig Harbor, where an intense propaganda was developed to promote the lies. It would take to long to disclose all the fraud these people committed I would be writing for a while; but it ranged from enrolling mentally disabled students to firing staff who dared question their judgment. Sex offenders were allowed to be enrolled without notifying staff and students, I am not judging anyone, just saying that people have the right to know what they are being exposed to.
I hope all the staff and students that were victimized by BCTI can find some closure now that the lies are coming to light. To the students past and present, continue to pursue your goals, not everyone in life is out to screw you. To the staff that did the right thing, be proud that you wanted to really help someone with their goals. To the staff that stayed loyal to Gig Harbor, shame on you.
Finally, to Tom, Morrie, Beth, Brad, Bill, Katherine, Trish, Margaret BC, Don, and any other Regional Manager or Vice President I forgot, I hope you get what you deserve. That you are left with nothing, just like you left so many students and staff. You are truly the most pathetic group a human being I have ever known. I am glad they finally got you.
