I thought I found a great thing with Vistaprinting.com. When they offered a $10 refund by taking a survey, I thought OK. No where do they tell you that you are also signing up for a membership with BusinessMax.By the time I saw it on the bottom of the fine prints, the submit button was already clicked.
Next day I got an email from BusinessMax saying unless I call to cancel, my CC card will be charged. No where on this email states the phone # to call.
I checked Vistaprinting site, no # for BusinessMax. I called Vistaprinting, their "system was down". I started to look for the BusinessMax site, no where to be found, but I was directed to this site - which made me realize I walked into a full-blown scam operation.
I promptly called the bank and told them the situation. They will reverse the charges and deal with them directly.
Moral of the story: don't fall for small bargains, you could lose bigger (in time, energy, faith) in the long run.
I'm going to report Vistaprint AND BusinessMax to the better business bureau. They need to know we won't stand for this unethical behavior.
