Ripoff fraudulent bill California

I tried the "free trial for 30 days." Before the 30 days were up, I cancelled so as not to be charged. I never did get my credit report.

My cancellation date was February 24. Since then I have been charged $7.95 every month. I called them and was told my account was cancelled on the above date and they do not know why I am being charged as they are not the ones charging me. Imagine that.

I went to my bank today and spoke with a representative for specialized services who told me they would investigate this and send me certain legal papers to sign and send back to them. I assume these are for fraudulent charges but they could only go back seven months and put a stop payment so CIC Credit Monitoring cannot charge to my account anymore.

In the meantime, I feel the CIC Credit Monitoring has made plenty of money off of me and I want that money back as I cancelled and should never have been charged in the first place.

Could you help me get my money back or somehow give me some legal advice on how to go about getting it back. How do these companies get away with scamming people without losing any sleep over it? How would they like one of their family members being scammed out of money? There must be some way of putting a stop to this.
