Econec, Britefly, Xpopzeconec, Gary Stanley, Michael Jackson ripoff doesn't pay employees overbills customers changes company name to hide tracks

Econec operated in Brewton, AL until they were basically run out of the city for their business ethics (or lack thereof). They bounce employees payroll checks, overbill their customers and change the name of the company whenever their ethics catch up with them.

I was an employee and was told to not let customers know they were the same people as the company in Brewton was. I had several of my paychecks bounce.in the 6 months I worked for them they changed the name of the company and had four different bank accounts because the accounts kept being closed for bounced checks.

Whenever they were short on funds (which was always) they would simply overbill the customers and never give out refunds when customers would call and complain. They also started a new internet service provider campaign under the name Britefly in an effort to conceal their true identity from former dissatisfied customers so that they could get their business again. I was actually told to lie to the customers and tell them it was not the same company or the same people that operated a business in Brewton.
