Aka Vistaprint.com Ripoff Offered my wife free business cards then billed her credit card for $109.45 for some phony membership California

On Feb 6 my wife, a sweet 60-year-old retired lady, responded to an ad on the Internet for some "free" business cards. This company, under the name Vistaprint.com, sent her the cards and charged her enough for so called shipping charge to easily pay for the printing. That was a small rip-off.

The big rip-off came when $9.95 charges started appearing on her credit card statement on March 18. They continued to appear every month through Jan. 3 when I finally caught on to what they were doing. That is 11 month at $9.95 for a total of $109.45 US dollars!

I failed to notice the bogus charges for so long because I write the checks to pay the bills every month, and being a trusting husband, I did not overly question my wife about the details of her card spending.

My wife is a trusting soul, but she doesn't deserve to be ripped off like that! This Businessmax is obviously a pro at taking advantage of older people. They knew that she was a retired woman, living on social security, and they claim that they gave her "membership" in something that can only be used by a business. They need to be stopped.

I talked to a representative of Businessmax on the phone just a few minutes ago. She took the attitude that we were stupid and deserved whatever we got. She refused to give us a refund. I will take this up with my bank next. They also have a responsibility to help keep rip-off artist like this from getting at their customers.
