Invention idea rip off!

I had an Idea for an invention. Like so many others I did a internet search and found David design and developement. They sent me a letter requesting I send them $685 for research. All I got back from them was pages that they found on the internet. Reading other reports they had sent them the same kind of things to them.

I didn't think nothing about the papers they sent at that time I was just really excited that there was no other ideas like mine out there.

They told me they had found a company that was interested in my idea. So they sent me a contract that wanted me to sign which would have oblegated me to about $12,000. That dollar amount scared me. They told me that the money would cover the cost of design and packaging and display. I didn't want to pay for packaging or display. I simply want to develope my idea. They would take a lesser amount but wanted more royalties.

Well the dollar amount scared me. So I checked the Better Business Bureau in that area for Davidson. I found that do this kind of thing all the time. They get people to invest money into their invention and then don't market their ideas. So the inventors are out all the money they had invested.

I wrote a letter to them and got a responce from what they call their Legal Dept that they could not change the contract in any way. So I decided to terminate al all corrispondance and any futher help (so called) with them.

Also checking the BBB I found that Davidson goes by several different company names so my word to all the people with invention Do Not Go Through Davidson Design and Developement. They Are Rip Off Artists. Thank God I only lost $685 and I am going to sue them to get it back.
