Bogus credit card charge Ripoff

A charge from this company appeared on my credit card. When I disputed it the company gave me credit but was unable to supply me with information about Kurtz or what the supposed charge was paying for. I thought I'd try Google to locate it and I came up with this website which explained how another person had the same thing happen. Why can't my credit card company, Chase, follow up on this and prosecute?
