Bright Bay Petroleum
Hendrickson Fuels, Suffolk Fuel, Liberty Fuel & Energy. Refusal to honor a HEAP vouche

HEAP has verified that Bright Bay Petroleum, located at 45 Lakeview Avenue, Bayshore NY 11706 was sent a voucher in the amount of $150 for an oil delivery. Bright Bay claims that they will not deliver because the cash amount is lower than their minimum purchase requirements.in the meantime, I have had no heat as of October 10. This is a government payment, and it MUST be honored. Apparently Bright Bay Petroleum plans to pocket this check and not deliver at all. There should be NO minimum purchase required for home heating oil, especially in the wake of two major storms. This s a roundabout form of price-gouging, and it should be illegal.
