Mike eads lies, lies and more lies

Mike eads came to our home representing becon's on june 9. After we heard his quote we decided that it was too high for us. He informed us that becon's was going out of business and he would be able to give us a better price. I didn't want to lose a headboard, two valences and a lounge chair to a bankrupt company so i agreed to let him do the work i also paid him 600 dollars before he did the work. The head board and valences were returned and the quality was average at best. He told me he was short of cash and would i pay in advance for the chair cushions. Like a fool, i paid him 200dollars in advance. Since then we have heard multiple stories about when it would be delivered. He had so many excuses about why it wasn't ready. When i called him and told him i was sorry i paid him before he completed the job. He swore at me over the phone. He even called us to say he would be at our home several times and never showed. Next he returned with new samples and we again chose one with the promise of a completed job within days. Mike eads is a serial liar!!! It is august 20th. And i am out 200 dollars and my chair and existing cushion (if it still exists). I find that my complaint is almost identical to another filed in 1999. He hasn't changed much in13 years.
