I guess it is time to add my story to the list. I ordered my furniture on November 25. All Bob Mackie furniture. A full dining room set, bedroom set and a few other pieces. I paid a partical payment of 10,336.00. The rest to be paid the week of delivery which was to be in 8 weeks.in January I called and Linda Libertare told me that no one would have told me that it would take 8 weeks to deliver because it takes 12 weeks. I told her that when I ordered that Cindy told me that my furniture would be delivered in 8 weeks. She actually continued to argue with me and raised her voice with me telling me that no one would promise me that.

I then got mad that I was being treated like that and asked to speak to Cindy. I was told that she was on vacation and she would have to call me back. After getting mad with Linda and yelling back at her she said that she would check on my order and call me back and give me a report on the status of it. She did call me back and tell me that it would be another four weeks. She went on to explain that the company was new and that it had grown so fast and had so many orders so fast and that it had just gotten so backlogged. She said the furniture companies had so many orders and the orders from Furniture USA were so great that they were filling the oldest ones first as they made the furniture. I then said you mean you have orders older than mine? She said that they did but that I was pretty high on the list now and my order was being made at that time. I look back now and I see an idiot for believing such a stupid mess.

She sent me a three page "Backorder Sales Order Acknowledgement" in the mail with "REVISED" stamped in red on it with the date 03-06-04 written beside it. Well needless to say March came and went with no furniture. I kept getting the emails saying this is a cut and pasted right from the email "

This was my every two week email. Patience hell this was at the end of June.in July I talked to Rachael Adams who was clearly treading water. I knew there was trouble and I wasn't getting my furniture. It is now September 23 and I still sit with no furniture and no money. How do we stop these people?
