I placed an order for a portable Danby dishwasher online on Jan 23.in a few days time the item stopped working. Contacted Evvive.com, Evvive then advised me to call Danby (diswasher manufacturer). After a number of calls with each one telling me to contact the other, a technician was sent to my apt. He repaired and once again it stopped working. Then I contacted Evvive and Danby and finally got a new piece shipped.

After a while the same problem started with the second dishwasher. Once again I had to call the technician, repaired it and it stopped working in a few days. According to the technician, the water pressure is not right. If that is the case my portable washing machine should not be working and the whole of New York City would be up in arms. So I asked for a refund as their product is defective. The customer service agent Lynette, informed me that she contacted Danby but it takes time to hear back.
Later I was informed the Danby person in charge for refunds was on vacations. Today is the 29th of June. I finally received a response from Evvive:

I just heard back from Danby again regarding the RA. Danby is not authorizing a return on the unit due to the notes from the service appointment. The service provider has stated that the unit is functioning as promised, and that the issue with the unit is due to water pressure in your home. Danby is now advising that the product is not eligible for a return. Please contact Danby or the service provider for those details.
