Steel Baron We contracted with Baron Buildings to build a building for us, they took our money and did not build the building

We signed a contract in 08 with Baron Buildings, also known as Steel Baron, owned and operated by Karla Nelson out of Cummin Georgia and Pierre South Dakota to construct a 150x100 foot building for us. We paid them per the contract a total of 97,000 as plans were drawn and materials were delivered. They said the building would be built in October or Novemeber which did not happen. They had steel for the building delivered to our site in late December. HOWEVER, they did not have all the materials that were to be delivered, delivered. The delivery of all of the concrete materials that were to follow the delivery of the steel never came. Throughout January and February on 2012 we

Were given numerous dates that they would come to consruct the building, they never showed.in late february Karla Nelson (owner of Baron Buildings) quit calling our returning our calls.in March we hired a lawyer and involved the attoney generals office. Baron Buildings hired a lawyer in Pierre South Dakota who negotiated with our lawyer to begin construction by 04/5 with timely completion of the building as weather permits. They also agreed to provide a construction schedule and have the balance of the materials delivered immediately. Today is 04/11, Baron Building has not provided the construction schedule, there have been no additional materials delivered, they have not shown to begin construction, and our lawyer has left several messages for their attorney that have gone unanswered. We have also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau in the states they advertise to service.
