Georgia Power
Fees for a "returned check" that wasn't sent for payment

Construction & Repair

I applied an entry check drawn on my Money One charge card to pay for my energy statement on April 5th. The statement was due April 12th. On April 12th, I obtained two sees, equally dated April 10, from Georgia Energy. One associated the check have been returned outstanding which my consideration was overdue. Atlanta Energy was incorporating a $30 cost towards the initial quantity of the statement. The 2nd notice mentioned that "because of the repeated delinquencies", a $95 request deposit had been put into my next statement.

I named Capital Someone To discover they hadnot yet obtained a cost about the check and thus couldn't have delivered it back outstanding. Atlanta Energy customer support recognized getting the check but stated they "had a problem using the producer". For whatever reason Atlanta Energy seems to be rejecting the check and performing as though it's returned. More, it's peculiar they consider this conduct after which contact the consideration "past due" on the day 2 times prior to the costs were due. I've had the consideration to get a year and till this second, there had never been a challenge. All obligations, including that one, have been created promptly with adequate resources.
