It was six o'clock in the evening. A guy comes to the door. He is driving a pickup truck with a lawnmower in the back. He asks me if I want him to mow my lawn for free to see how good of a job he does. I said yes. I hired him to come every week. He did a nice job. Then he said he would give me a break if I paid one year in advance. It really was a good price so I said yes. I paid him up front. I thought since he had mowed it many times before that I could count on him. But after I paid him - all cash - I never saw him again.
