We put $1000 down on a house after we had a pre-approval letter from a loan agent. Mike Devitt, realtor, told us the deposit was 100% refundable if the loan did not close. The lender did not close the loan by the required closing date and Coldwell Banker refused to refund our deposit. The branch manager, Julie Quesinberry, told us unless we agreed to only get half our money back, we would have to sue them to get ANY money back.
