How To Buy a Useless Kitchen Range Hood

I bought an Island Range Hood from this company for my new kitchen. However, the Kitchen Range Hood comes with Fluorescent 'lights' which illuminate your cooking area. Just about every Range Hood has these for obvious reasons. Two years later one of the Fluorescent light tubes failed. I initially thought that this would be easy to replace - lights wear out so this was to be expected.

No big deal. However, when I tried to find a replacement for this Fluorescent light tube I encountered a major problem. This size is not stocked by any major retailer nor wholesaler. I tried the usual big stores (Home Depot etc) then the electrical wholesalers without any luck. Even the largest electrical wholesaler in Canada tried to find tube of this size. No luck.

I phoned Live Tec and was asked to send some images of the range hood and they would get back to me.
