I purchased 3 internal solid-core gates 2 weeks before. An expert trim contractor that has strung some 500 gates suggested they were badly created. The jam end doesn't enroll using the leading end area and CAn't be transferred since nothing is beneath it. The gates CAn't be sanded or planned since the look layer is dispersed or captured about the particleboard. Is doesn't have bevel opposite the joint part to ensure that once the doorway starts or shuts it's willing hitting the exterior jam. This can be a badly manufactured and manufactured item. I've purchased thousands of bucks of supplies from Menards during the last couple of years but undoubtedly it was the worst. I highly recommend against buying of any size:
