They financially ruined us They demonstrate a complete lack of client understanding and "BUDGET"

When we found the perfect location for our new store we fell in love with it. The landlord (Botwin and Company, KCMO // 816.444.4414) required us to use her architect (Josh Shelton of El Dorado, Inc.). Josh Shelton the lead architect on our project was aloof and pretty much uninterested in our needs. He continued to make changes and adjustments to the plan which ended up costing nearly $70K creating a $45K over budget expense. This additional expense devoured our working capital. As a result we opened the store profoundly under funded. Subsequently, the raping of my company by Josh Shelton of El Dorado, Inc. I would like to see an investigation into the business practices of Mr. Shelton. I ask this because it has recently been brought to my attention that he has infact been carrying on an extramarital affair with our landlord (who "required" us to use Josh Shelton of El Dorado, Inc.) also a married individual. This seems to me to be an extreme conflict of interest.

The final result of all of this is that while our landlord was getting laid we were getting screwed. We went out of business. Thanks Josh and Diane.
