Ripoff employees are getting screwed too 7%

I am a former salesman/lead technition for United Air Comfort in Martinez, CA. I recently read a report from David in Concord, CA who was ripped off by this company. I feel bad for David and his roomate because I was the one who sold him the job.

My main priority at the time was getting them the best price so that I could sell the job and make my part. Granted, I was able to give the gentlemen a wonderful price of $7295 for a full cut-in. I closed the deal right then and there assuming that my installers could complete the simple job with no problems. I was wrong.

I had promised the customer that I would personally seal all of his ducts when the job was finished. When I arrived at the customer's house I saw a disaster. The installers were at the house, smoking without permission in his garage. Thats there idea of customer service! The furnace was in the garage so I had planned the return duct to be on the wall just beside the unit.instead, the installers ran a huge duct from the bottom of the unit into the space above the garage, blocking the water heater.

The gas lines were all messed up and ran in the most unprofessional way I have ever seen. The refrigeration lines were run through the garage like crap. It looked like it was done by a child. It took the installers (who worked only about 4 hours a day) weeks to complete the job that could have been done by professionals in two days.

I was supposed to recieve 10% of all the equipment I sold, which should have been $729.50. However, when I finally was paid (about two months after I sold it) only $510.65. This was the second time I was given 7% rather than 10% which is what I was promised.

This is only one problem I had with this company. I could go on forever but unfortunately I don't have all the time it would take to bitch about these jackasses. If you have any brains, don't buy anything or work for this company, it is a ripoff. The only one who wins is Mark Berch, the *sshole owner, who WILL soon get his when he rots in hell. This company has already been banned from every state except for California and Florida. Do not use this company for anything! Be smart! Somebody please sue these *ssholes!!!
