This company operated as The Master Craftsman in Brampton for many years. Their dreadful reviews are still posted all over the Internet, but, as you can see, changing their name has not changed their business practices. I still have the contracts that prove their attempt to charge my 88-year-old mother some $8,000 to refinish a worthless old dining set. An example of an attempted charge: $2,000 just to replace the cloth seat cushions on the four dining room chairs. We attempted to cancel these contracts within Ontario's 10-day cooling off period, but the salesman threatened my mother with a lawsuit, claiming that she had waived her rights by initialing some sticker on the front of the contract. (By the way, you cannot waive your rights under this law, not even if you choose to.) Only when I made it clear I would fight this in court did TMC refund my family's deposit money. Avoid these people at all costs.
