Eric Leatham Provided very poor quality home remodeling and grossly overcharged for services rendered

This home remodeling company provided very poor quality service. They only addressed problems if they were specifically brought to the attention of the contractor or staff. The kitchen hardwood flloors needed to be refinished multiple times due to the inferior quality and lack of care of their subcontractors. It still is of a permanent, unsatisfactory quality finish.
They did not repair the wobbly bathroom toilet even though it was obviously not stable at the time of install. They only reinstalled it after it was brought to their attention. Likewise, the bathroom ceiling had paint peeling off, somehow nobody every saw fit to mention it, so they never addressed the problem when they were putting the toilet back in a second time. The kitchen tile backsplash had numerous chipped tiles throughout; repairs were made only to the one area where it was initially pointed out and noticed by the customer. Subsequently, when the kitchen backsplash to the left of the refrigerator was examined in more detail; it was apparent that there were many tiles that were chipped and broken off in small pieces. The kitchen electrical outlets were not installed properly, they were not set correctly resulting in loose outlets and a potential fire hazard.

The kitchen sink garbage disposal was not installed properly. This required a plumber service call which discovered that the stainless steel gasket was not put in place properly; causing continous water leaking and the replacement of the garbage disposal. The living room ceiling had oil stains leaking through from a pneumatic line being used when ceiling trusses were being installed; this will require the whole ceiling to be repainted. The shoe molding around the entire baseboard of the house does not match the baseboard trim; requiring more repainting and aggravation.

It would be a grave mistake by anybody to use this company - as not only is this work of poor quality but you can certainly expect a grossly inflated bill at the time of payment which will be thousands of dollars more than the contract price.
