Dont Trust Ahmad Zein. Ahmad Zein ignored our phone calls, changed our appointment 3X in one day and then made our family wait outside in 95 degree heat while he worked a shady side deal on our time. On July 18th, Ahmad Zein committed to showing me and my family one his rental listings at 4pm He called at 11AM asking to reschedule the time to 3pm. No problem. He then called at 1 to reschedule to 3:30pm. Then at 2:00pm he called to inform us that an offer was already made on the rental listing and that it would not make sense to go to the property. We found this odd, as having a back up offer, even for a rental is Real Estate 101. So as the time got closer to our 3:30 appointment, I called Ahmad at 2:55,3:05 and 3:25 to ensure he was still going to be at the location. I did not want to drive there in vain as I have my kids and job to worry about. Since the property is now "off the market" since he has an "application", I still drove for our appointment.in case he was still there I did not want to stand him up. No professional courtesy at all. So what did I find when I drove up? Ahmad and another family, different from the one that had taken the property off the market, touring the house. Jamal made me and my 4 year old son wait outside of the house for 30 minutes while he finished a tour. The math did not add up. He advised us not to see the property because it had an application in on in already. But then another family in our same situation was there to see the house? No need to play the race card as Ahmad is a Muslim man and I am a black man. I believe 30 years ago this would be called steering on redlining, today I will just call it shadiness and poor customer service. We would never do business with Ahmad and we actually feel sorry for him. Of all people in the world to use tactics to filter out clients based on poor decisions and or predefined thoughts. His service was totally not acceptable.

My Desired Resolution:
An apology from the broker Ahmad Zein for his unprofessionalism and a true explanation as to why he decided to not take our appointment but only provide us access after we arrived at our scheduled despite all the attempts he had to keep us from seeing the home. The look on his face when we arrived and he was making his seperate shady deal was priceless.
