Asphalt Driveway that blows away in the wind and make good fertilizer

Construction & Repair

Ripped me off to the tune of approximately $6700. First part of milling asphalt okay, so I gave the go ahead 3 months later to finish my long driveway. It blew away in the wind, and makes great fertilizer, grass growing all through it.

They cannot be located. I filed with BBB and Small Claims Court in their county. I can't give you numbers of anything as they were all fake either "discontinued" "out of service" "subscriber cannot be reached at this time" and plain ole out of service.

The county I filed could not locate them and said the address I was given on business card is "vacant".

Do not let anyone put an asphalt (or do any construction for that matter) for you until you check them out really good. I didn't. I was made a fool of.

Tried to stop payment on check. I do have their driver's license number though. Considering what to do. I read on the internet these type are called "travelers" — they go around, do the work, then cannot be located, because they have moved on.

I have tried to attach 2 pictures, but cannot seem to get them to upload. The asphalt blew away in the wind, and almost need cutting with my lawnmower (grass).
