Nationwide AMC/Atlantic West AMC rips off borrower paid fees

I perfomed an FHA appraisal for Nationwide AMC, now Atlantic AMC in July. After repeatedly calling Matt Moore, I was finally contacted by 'Bob' at Atlantic. He told me Matt would get back to me... Right. This company routinely takes appraisal fees from borrowers and steals the money owed to the appraiser for the work perfomed. I called the lender that they represented in this case, American Nationwide Mortgage, and they said it was not their problem and completely washed their hands of the matter. Apparently, I am not the only appraiser doing work for American Nationwide that has been ripped off by the AMC that they are/were using. Beware!!
