Bret Hamilton ~ Unskilled Scam Artist~

Hamilton Decor Group was hired 11/ 29 to provide custom Wainscoting to our entry and stairs. The entire job was bid at $1900 including supplies. On 12/3, Bret Hamilton of Hamilton Decor Group, asked to be paid half upfront and to be paid every Friday. He was given a check for $954 on 12/3. On the second work week he failed to show up at prearranged times, would enter our residence without knocking or calling and failed to advance on any work despite being in our home upwards of 9 hours a day. On Wednesday, 12/8 he demanded more money because he couldn't afford supplies and stated he could do nothing else further on the job until he received more money. We refused and asked him to leave at 3pm. He later returned at 5 pm and entered our home without consent. He again returned on the morning of 12/9 and tired to enter our home and began to demand money for supplies he had purchased and stated he did not bid the job correctly. What little work he did do has to be torn out and redone by another company. He falsely represented himself as a craftsman capable of this job and took a down payment and seemed to have no concept on how to professionally conduct himself or his business. He is refusing any type of refund at this date.
