Paid for furniture NEVER received! Many people ripped off!

Paid cash for furniture from Ashley Furniture. Told 6-8 weeks shipping. Never received. Called company and told still on backorder. Now 10 weeks later the store is closed. Newspaper and t.V. Report "delivery and financial" problems. Corporate office states stores individually owned. Apparently, a large number of other people had this happen to them also and we are not sure if we will EVER receive our furniture or our money back. Abilene Reporter News or local stations have full reports for anyone interested in verifying this big scam!!! There were 3 stores that pulled this stunt and ripped hundreds of people off.

We are hoping the corporate office for Ashley furniture will honor all the people who have lost their money to this scam artist but so far it has been disappointing. We called the number in the paper and told someone would get back to us "maybe in a 1-2 weeks". We spent a great deal of money with the faith in Ashley Furniture as a reputable company. We were obviously wrong.
