Cardinal Aquapure, Inc
David M. Grant Faulty service, misrepresentation, fraudulent charges, nonfunctioning water unit with leaks

Construction & Repair

We purchased a $3,500 reverse osmosis water softener unit from Cardinal Aqua Pure in 2003. This company is owned by David M. Grant. We faithfully paid him $200 plus a year to come out, inspect, change filters and prevent trouble. This past year, this company called us again for service, misrepresented that if we didn't get our service done that we would "invalidate our warranty." This was a bold-faced lie as we are no longer under warranty 7 years later. However, we paid the money (with difficulty due to underemployment problems) and Mr. Grant's technician came out to do the service. 6 weeks later, our unit sprang a leak and started to flood our garage. Cardinal (Mr. Grant) said that it is "not their responsibility as it was past 30 days since they did the service. He sent the same technician out who charged us $59 and took a picture of the unit. We then heard nothing for almost a month and a half.
