Cleaning For Heros AKA Broad Street Cleaners Harassing and won't take no for a anwser. Calls our company every day looking for us to do work for free!

My company is pretty small, but we have been in business for a little over a year. We have about 100 customers and are always looking for more. About a month ago a lady named Angie contacted me by phone telling me that her company is looking for cleaning companies that will donate a few cleans to people from the armed forces. Being a sucker for our troops and growing up in a family full of military and such, I thought it'd be a good idea so I asked her to email me with the info. That's when the red flags were raised. Little did I realize she is wanting to give out cleans and promises you that you'll also get some that will be discounted, meaning we wont be giving out all free cleans, it was a joke. I offered donating 1-2 cleans a month hoping to get 1-2 discounted customers too, but that was not the case. After I did a little digging, 5 found out she has numerous businesses listed under her address, one is even a cleaning service! 610 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888 is her address.

I'm not sure if she is running a scam or just a bunch of failed businesses. I decided to not participate in cleaning 4 heroes just to be on the safe side. I'm not taking any chances.

She has nothing on her website proving her sucess in the business, does not list company's that have joined or anything showing that her business is really doing what it promises.

I would just say to use your own judgement. Ask for references and she backs off and gets rude. She isn't very cooperative when you ask her questions or doubt what she tells you.
