No Honor, No Deal - Car Salesmen

Test drove a car, liked it and started to deal. They did typical run to the manager to get the ok. A lot of pressure but I did not give in. We could not come to an agreement on the price of my car. I took car for overnight (actually 72 hours, on their insistence). Discussed with my wife and determined the deal we would agree to was they would pay our car the residual loan value (7700) and we would pay their asking price (16800). I called salesman and told him this. He called me back and left message saying his sales manager said to come on in and we would make a deal (I still have message on my phone). So I had the car inspected at the cost of 47.78 (inspection found bad tie-rod ends). Went in next day with my wife to make the deal. Sales manager that verbally agreed to our terms was not in and sales manager on shift refused our deal. It ended with him shouting for us to "get off the lot" and told his sales associate to "escort these people out of the building." Here's the funny part—as we were leaving (we were in separate vehicles) another sales manager came out of the building at a dead run flagging us down to try and salvage the deal. I told him I wanted the deal verbally agreed to.

I want reimbursed the $47.78 for the cost of the vehicle inspection and the approximately $20 in gas I put in the car (I can get the exact amount since I used a debit card, just do not have it now). I would also like a formal written apology from these dishonorable people but mostly I just want my money back.
