Water boss, cloudy water, chronic breakage, impossible customer service

Every time my Waterboss 700 water softener regenerates, I have to flush about 15 to 20 gallons of water before it becomes clear, as in, "not cloudy and not having a foul taste". Waterboss says this is because I don't use up the capacity in less than 7 days. I let my nephew and his wife move in for 2 months and had to regenerate every 3 days. The water was still cloudy after every regeneration, and never improved in 20 regenerations over the course of 60 days. Waterboss Customer Service kind of mumbled something over the phone, basically claiming it couldn't happen.

Later, the "turbine wheel" which measures water flow failed because the end bearing is made of plastic, and the stainless steel center shaft wears a hole through it. Waterboss claimed they had never mailed a turbine wheel before because they do not fail, yet I see complaints online about the exact thing happening to other people.

Waterboss lies, and lies, and lies. That means their customer service is a bunch of liars.

Waterboss softeners do not regenerate correctly and the badly designed plastic parts fail. This isn't even about salt corrosion. It is about design defects which happened without any salt corrosion.
