Horrible, Horrible, Horrible company to deal with! A nightmare to deal with from when I moved into one of their rental, the time I lived there, and now even after I moved out!

I lived in one of their apartments for 2 years, and have nothing but complaints. They have charged me over $300 in late charges even though I had sent over my bank statements repeatedly showing them that my rent payments had been paid on time. This has been going on for over 7 months, the billing department tells me they had to forward it on to upper management and that someone will get back to me in a few days. Its been 7 months, and have still not EVER received a phone call about these late fees and I keep calling and getting the same response.

I had a huge leak in my ceiling because the roof needed to be replaced. I called Vantage about this issue and they said a property supervisor would come by to inspect it. Well he called me set up appointments of a time I would need to be home and then would not even call to cancel on me, so I was taking time off from work waiting for someone to show up who never did. I finally had to take them to court to fix the leak which was fixed on the VERY last day the court ordered them to have it fixed by. It was fixed in July and such a crappy job that when I moved out in December you could see the water marks coming through again. [By the way the super had told me everyone on my floor had leaks in their ceilings! ]

Now now I have been chasing them down for my deposit check. I was just told I am not eligible because I owe them money in my late fees! And that I had moved out an entire month after I had actually moved out. The funny thing is that they never charged me for the extra month they are saying I lived there. I only owe them the late fees!

What a joke this company is. Please anyone who is thinking of living in any of Vantages buildings save yourself the wasted time on the phone (they'll never call you back), headaches, and overall your sanity and STAY AWAY!
