I've a furnace agreement with Homeserve.
Our Glow worm Enerygysaver 60 furnace began playing up and so I approached Homeserve.
They sent a manufacture to have a look.
He discovered a trickle and stated he'll purchase a component.
Per week later I acquired a phone from Homeserve stating the components will definitely cost a lot of plus they provided me £200 towards a brand new furnace plus they might stop the agreement.
The components they stated it required were: Primary heat exchanger 2000800525 £446, sec heat exchanger 2000800472 £465, burner S203154P £165, gasoline authority quantity 4131994.
Its seems when the price of repairs is above £200 subsequently Homeserve won't make an effort to repair it but simply provide you with £200 to get a new furnace and stop the agreement.
You're better off-putting the cash apart in the place of spending Homeserve.
Therefore, beware when you have a contract with homeserve. The absolute most they'll cover is £200!!
