Vintage Home Interiors, That's so Shabby, Jennifer Thompson Non delivery of product

I purchased a coffee table from Ms. Jennifer Thompson of Abitofparis.com during early September. Much like her previous victims, I had good communication with her at first. After the money has been charged on my card, I realized I had made a vital error in judgement trusting this woman, who would disappear for days at a time, not returning emails in a timely manner and never picking up her phone.
To make a long story short, the product was never delivered, despite ENDLESS creative and elaborate excuses from Ms. Thompson. I. E, She was sick, it was raining, a dying relative, her delivery people had to take a detour on their way to FedEx since their mother experienced a brain aneurysm which burst and died. (That one took the cake!) How very fascinating that all of those regrettable events should occure just during the time my table was to be sent.
She kept re-assuring me my product has been shipped and was on its way to me, yet never disclosed any tracking number nor any other kind of proof that this was indeed true. Excuses galore, and 'have a blessed day' at the end of everyone of them.
Fedex ran a search of my name and address and came up with no record of anything being sent to me. Ms. Thompson is no longer in communication with me at this point. How very convenient for her.
I am absolutely appalled that this woman is still in business. There have been numerous complaints about her lack of professionalism and previous non-deliveries at the Better Business Bureau website, and she has received an F raiting.
I would be very interested in communicating with other individuals who have found themselves tangled is this extremely unfortunate situation. Please feel free to contact me through this site in response to my posting.
