Pillar Home And Business - Ed Cunha
8 Weeks and Waiting for Ed Cunha to fix a kitchen drawe

Construction & Repair

After turning over a broken kitchen drawer to Ed Cunha, I have not heard a word from him. I have called his cell phone several times and after an evasive comment about the status of the drawer, he promises to call back the next day when he's in the shop.
He has never called back. I have sent emails to him using ServiceMagic email address - no reponse. I had Customer Service from ServiceMagic call him, they were told he'd call me the next afternoon&I'm still waiting; that was a week ago. For 8 weeks he has never called with status, never returned one phone call or one email. I even asked him to simply return the drawer, but he said he'd "check in the shop" and call me back.
Sounds like others have seen the same modus operandi from this guy. What a mistake it was to rely on ServiceMagic's vetting process, rather than doing my own. His shop number rings at ServiceMagic, so I guess he's unlisted in Salem. Small claims would only lead to collection problems if I won, so I don't feel that's an option. He's immune to mediation, but I'll try one or two more times.
