We ordered a pool chiller for $1,500 from Leslie's. Approximately one week later, we received an e-mail saying that the item had been shipped from the manufacturer on June 29. Then the next day, we got an e-mail that said it had been shipped on June 30. Then on July 1, another e-mail saying it had been shipped on July 1. Finally, those e-mails stopped. But it did say that shipping would be 7-10 business days.

In seven days, we called Leslie's to get tracking information (the item was supposedly coming FedEx) so that we could arrange for our pool guy to install it for us. We tried for two weeks to get tracking information - they kept saying it wasn't available, it was in transit, etc. Finally, they said the chiller would arrive at the house the week of August 3.

So today, on August 7, we called once again to fnd out where the chiller is (the chiller we had paid $1,500 for) - the answer: It will be shipping August 14. Leslie's Pools customer service has been LYING TO US FOR OVER THE PAST THREE WEEKS WHILE THEY'VE KEPT OUR $1,500. Needless to say, we canceled the chiller and are now fighting to get them to refund our money.
