Stay away from them - Estimate for installing home office

Don't use " All Bay Closets " for your closet. Pretty bad customer service. First he will tell you that he can't customize anything and later on if you don't hire him, you will have hear from him and waste your time. Only thing is good about him, you get free estimate.

Here is my email conversation with him.

Morning,

Just wanted to follow up on the quote I sent a week ago. I called you guys over the weekend and spoke with your wife. I understand if you guys are taking time to review this proposal but I would like to at least get a feedback as to what you think price wise, design, or any questions that we may discuss.

Tony,
We are not sure about the design of the office room. We wanted glass shelves, electrical and network wiring work done along with the desk. You had mentioned that you don't do those things. We are trying to find someone who can do all of the work. Thanks for your time and the estimate.

I appreciate your reply. My proposal is to get you functional office with all items as we discussed and drew up together.

I doubt that there is a company out there that will do all including wiring and cable hooks-ups at the same time as they design and install cabinets for you - good luck with that!!!

Expect to pay top dollars for that. As far as glass shelves - I do not know how much glass shop wants for those - but I can provide them for a price. There is some research and leg work that you physically have to do in order to have people quote jobs to you.

Thanks for the headsup Tony. I would like to give a shot and explore my options. These days people are willing to do things which they wouldn't do in the good economy. If I can't find what I am looking for atleast would know what my options are.

Let me respond to your comment - over the years I have worked with various customers with various needs but most of them if not all shared one thing in common which is the very least - is the common undesrtanding and value for other people's time and effort to offer their services to others. When you say "people" are willing to just do certain things in this economy - let me ask - would you be willing to walk my dog or wash my car just because of the bad economy just to get a job when you ask to quote one?

You use bad economy as an excuse to get things your way for the lowest price that you can get for, by belittling other people's integrity in trying to keep this business a competitive market.
I wish you all the best, and please learn one thing; America does not revolve around you or people of your stature if you think that you may even pocess one.

Who in the right mind will deal with them. Why should I purchase something which I don't want. What kind of response is that.
