False 60 Day Lates 7 years after PAID OFF! Corporate

Havertys Furniture has been reporting false 60 &30 days late on my credit report since the year 2000. It started 5 months PRIOR to buying any furniture on their credit card and has continued for 7 years after paying off the whole balance in 2002. We just recently had a 60 day late payment on our credit in 2008!!! We have contacted all 3 credit agencies and the Consumer Credit Affairs and no one can make this stop!!! We are so frustrated and dont know what to do. Do you know what a 60 day late does to your credit score? NEVER use Havertys credit! If anyone knows any way that we can make this stop, please let us know.
